Financial and Payroll Administrator

About the Role:

The University of Toronto's Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing is seeking a highly skilled Financial and Payroll Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support in payroll administration, financial record-keeping, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
Generate financial reports and analyze data to inform budget decisions
Apply generally accepted accounting principles to financial tasks, ensuring transparency and accountability
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining accurate records and reconciliations
Monitor departmental budget, ensuring expenditures align with allocated funds

Requirements:

Advanced College Diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum three years of financial and payroll experience, preferably in a university environment
Proven expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
