About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Technician to join our team at the ADGA Group of Companies. As a key member of our electronics workshop, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of electronic systems.


Responsibilities:



  1. Maintain and repair complex electronic systems, including test equipment and communication devices.
  2. Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
  3. Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including test results and repair history.
  5. Conduct annual inventory checks of electronic security systems and report anomalies to management.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  8. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to provide updates and address concerns.
  9. Adhere to all local regulations and guidelines related to electronics maintenance and repair.

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum of a college degree from a technology program or equivalent, with relevant experience in electronics maintenance and repair. You should have a strong understanding of Communications in GP test equipment, commercial and personal computers, and their peripherals, as well as MS Office Suite software experience.


Bonus Qualifications:



  • A valid CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification is an asset.
  • Certifications such as Working at Heights (Fall Arrest), First Aid, Confined Space, and WHMIS are also beneficial.
  • A good understanding of RF, CATV, CCTV, PA/intercom, and automated control systems is highly desirable.

Compensation:


The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
