Senior Vehicle Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As a Senior Vehicle Maintenance Technician - Infrastructure Specialist at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any malfunctions or damage, and perform repairs or replacements as needed using proper tools and equipment.
- Spare Parts Procurement: Place orders for necessary spare parts and ensure timely procurement to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose problems and vehicle operation issues, and recommend changes of parts or other necessary services for the vehicle.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain daily maintenance records and reports, and prepare cost estimates for repairs and service requests.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all company vehicles and equipment are safe to operate and comply with provincial standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Certification: 310T Certification is required, along with a valid Driver's License.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of current principles, techniques, and practices used in repairing and maintaining vehicles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions
This position involves working in both an outdoor environment and an indoor shop environment. Heavy lifting is also required.
