Job Description

We are seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in 2025. As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will assist with the maintenance and upkeep of project vehicles and equipment by performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks under the guidance of a senior mechanic.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting vehicles and equipment to detect malfunctions or damages and performing repairs or replacements as needed
  • Monitoring, diagnosing, and repairing AVL systems
  • Monitoring, diagnosing, and repairing electronic driver's logs
  • Diagnosing problems and recommending repair services
  • Maintaining daily maintenance records and reports

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; second or third-year apprentice student preferred
  • 1+ year experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
