Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HR business partner to join our national People team as a Director of People and Culture. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing people and culture strategies that align with our university's mission, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with academic and business leaders to develop and implement people and culture strategies that support our university's mission and goals.
  • Lead change management initiatives and communications to support organizational changes and minimize disruption.
  • Collaborate with academic and business leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop strategies for recruitment and retention.
  • Develop and implement employee relations and engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure that people practices in hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation support a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture.
  • Coach and advise leaders on best practices in performance management to enable a high-performance and highly engaged workforce.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing people and culture strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with leaders and employees.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across levels and functions to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational issues.
