Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, People - Business Partnering to join our national People team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing people and culture strategies that align with our university's mission, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with academic and business leaders to develop and implement people and culture strategies
  • Lead change management initiatives and communications to support organizational changes
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop strategies for recruitment and retention
  • Foster a continuous learning environment and guide leaders in developing top talent
  • Oversee succession planning and career development programs to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders
  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Ensure People practices in hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation support a diverse, inclusive, collaborative organizational culture
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing people and culture strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with leaders and staff
  • Experience with change management and organizational development
