Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Sr. Environmental Professional to join our Critical Infrastructure team in Western Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting technical and environmental activities across various projects.


Responsibilities



  • Assist with coordination of site monitoring, investigation, and remediation projects at active and vacant petroleum and chemical handling properties;
  • Plan projects, develop scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules, and deliverables;
  • Collaborate with project teams, including field personnel, coordinators, managers, draftspersons, and administrative staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and budget adherence;
  • Perform data entry and quality control for soil, groundwater, and vapour data;
  • Prepare do-lists, health and safety plans, technical reports, memoranda, and other project documentation;
  • Conduct fieldwork, including soil sampling during drilling, test pitting, and excavation activities, as well as monitoring and groundwater sampling using various equipment;
  • Supervise drillers and other contractors;

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in earth sciences, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or similar fields;
  • Prior experience in conducting site assessments, remediation, and preparing reports;
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, service, integrity, and accountability;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Maturity in interactions and ability to operate self-sufficiently in the office;
  • A valid driver's license;

Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary range of $44,000-$74,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including health insurance, pension plan, paid time off, and professional growth opportunities.
