Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Environmental Professional to join our team at Parsons Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting technical and environmental activities in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate site monitoring, investigation, and remediation projects at active and vacant petroleum and chemical handling and storage properties.
  • Plan projects, develop scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including field personnel, project coordinators, managers, draftspersons, and administrative staff to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform data entry and quality control for soil, groundwater, and vapour data.
  • Prepare do-lists, health and safety plans, technical reports, memoranda, and other project documentation.
  • Assist with field work, including soil sampling during drilling, test pitting, and excavation activities, as well as monitoring and groundwater sampling.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, civil, environmental, chemical, geological engineering, or similar programs.
  • Prior experience in conducting site assessments, remediation, and report preparation is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrates values of safety, teamwork, service, integrity, and accountability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
