Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Quinte Physiotherapy Clinic Inc.
Job Summary:The Physiotherapist Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care and support in our rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physiotherapists.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including setting up and dismantling equipment, administering evaluative tests, and documenting patient progress.
- Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and process files and paperwork as needed.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
Our clinic is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding work setting. The Physiotherapist Assistant will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
