Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Quinte Physiotherapy Clinic Inc. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field, such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, with a strong attention to detail.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, with a willingness to relocate for this position.
