Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care and support in our clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatment plans, and rehabilitation programs
  • Conduct evaluative tests and procedures as directed by physiotherapists
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, and order new materials as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or healthcare)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
