We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Quinte Physiotherapy Clinic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care and support in our clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and assist in the development of treatment plans
  • Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures, and document patient rehabilitation progress
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
