Job Summary

Certispec Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our laboratory operations and analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Laboratory Apparatus: You will be responsible for operating various laboratory apparatus, including equipment for chemical experiments and analytical studies.
  • Assist in Set Up and Conduction of Chemical Experiments: You will assist in setting up and conducting chemical experiments, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed.
  • Compile Records for Analytical Studies: You will be responsible for compiling records for analytical studies, including data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in Developing Programs of Sampling and Analysis: You will assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in Design and Fabrication of Experimental Apparatus: You will assist in designing and fabricating experimental apparatus, ensuring that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a college or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: You must have at least 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: You will be responsible for providing support for persons with disabilities, including mentorship and coaching opportunities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: You will be responsible for supporting newcomers and refugees, including providing mentorship programs and diversity training.
  • Support for Youth: You will be responsible for providing support for youth, including awareness training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous People: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities and providing cultural competency training.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: You will be responsible for providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
