About the Role:

PopReach is a leading game publisher seeking a skilled Junior Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality release of our upcoming cozy game.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly test our new products/updates currently in development while logging and tracking any bugs found.
  • Understand the basic functionality of iOS / Android devices and troubleshoot the most common issues.
  • Carry out technical requirements testing for both iOS and Android platforms to ensure on-time submissions.
  • Ability to think of 'outside of the box' testing methods to ensure a high-quality end-user experience.
  • Ability to write test cases based on design documents.
  • Adapt to a fast-changing development environment and be able to multitask with several software tools daily.
  • Provide constructive quality gameplay feedback to the development teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of game experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Understanding of what it means to work in an agile environment including adaptability as changes occur.
  • Technologically savvy, with a passion for gaming.
  • Familiar with using bug-tracking software (JIRA, etc).
  • Experience using Windows and Word Processing programs (MS Office, Google Docs, etc.).
  • Knowledge & upkeep of structured test case systems.
  • Ability to be thorough and follow up on game issues with other QA testers, Managers and/or the Development Teams.
