About the Opportunity
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in managing high invoice volumes and maintaining accurate accounts payable records.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for verifying proper authorization of vendor invoices, creating new vendors, and maintaining current vendors in NetSuite.
- As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with project managers and managers to ensure that vendor invoices are recorded accurately and on time.
- Your responsibilities will also include reconciling vendor accounts and statements, responding to vendor queries, and maintaining historical records of all invoices, reports, and payments.
- We offer a competitive salary range of $62,500 - $67,500 per year, based on experience.
About You
- We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of two years' experience in accounts payable is required, preferably in a multi-currency environment.
- You should have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.
- In addition to your technical skills, you must be flexible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with various stakeholders.
Salary Range
