Job Overview

The Regional Municipality of Peel is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Finance department, you will provide administrative support for the accounts payable section, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative support for the accounts payable section, including filing, data entry, and communication with vendors
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and other financial transactions
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, procurement, and accounting teams

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

Skills and Qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,184 - $56,478 per year, plus comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth. The successful candidate will also be eligible for a pension plan and flexible hours.
