About the Role

The Managing Director (MD) plays a crucial role in the success of BNI Canada, overseeing the daily operations and development of a world-class team of Director Consultants (DCs) within the Quebec region. This is a full-time, exempt role that requires a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the region's annual success plan, fostering a success-oriented, accountable, and positive environment within the region.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve maximum efficiency and improved performance, ensuring targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition.
  • Collaborate with executives on the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, business goals, and objectives.
  • Manage and execute special projects as assigned, identifying opportunities and developing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the region.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, working independently and with a team to successfully achieve company objectives.

Requirements

  • Fluently bilingual – spoken and written.
  • Candidate must live in Quebec City metropolitan area. This role will require travel.
  • Solution-finder and results-driven within an entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
  • Proven leadership ability while fostering mentor relationships.
  • Customer-focused with a desire to build rapport and long-term relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, organized with verbal, written, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
  • Possess an attitude of flexibility and adaptability that matches our growth pace.
  • Strong and proven understanding of performance management principles.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to routinely travel to local Chapters.
