Caregiver - Long Term Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team at Queens Park Care Centre in New Westminster, BC. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
- Clean and maintain equipment as needed, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Physical ability to perform duties of the position, including lifting and transferring residents.

About the Compensation
The salary range for this position is CAD $29.83 - $29.83 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to ensure our employees feel valued and supported throughout their careers.
