We are currently hiring for a Pharmacist at our Royal City Centre location in New Westminster, BC.

Job Summary

This role involves managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing medication, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory within the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations, and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing medication and administering vaccinations
  • Maintain inventory within the pharmacy
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations
  • Stay current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry
  • Offer private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture
  • Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening

Requirements

  • A Canadian Pharmacist license and good standing with the College of Pharmacists
  • Injection certification
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge as needed
  • Additionally, additional training or certifications are considered an asset

Compensation Details

The compensation offered for this position ranges from $44.00 to $47.00 per hour. This rate may vary based on location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
