Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a skilled Proposal Coordinator to join our Southern Ontario Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the proposal production process, working closely with stakeholders to coordinate and prepare high-quality proposal responses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the proposal production process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of proposal responses.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to review and interpret RFP and RFQ documents, determining requirements for successful proposal submission.
  • Develop and maintain a library of standard marketing materials, including project profiles and resumes.
  • Support ad-hoc business development initiatives, preparing marketing materials for client presentations as needed.
  • Monitor and identify opportunities on public portals, notifying Division Managers of potential pursuits.
  • Assist with document control and management to support various pursuits.

Education Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
Work Experience Requirements
  • 1-2 years of marketing/business development/proposal or related experience, preferably in the Engineering or Construction industry
  • Writing, Editing and Proof-reading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to work on multiple initiatives and adhere to submission deadlines
  • Superior communication skills and ability to work as part of team
Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements
  • Proposal coordination in a construction setting is an asset
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and PDF editing software
