We are a full-service firm providing a range of services to our clients. We welcome lawyers from all backgrounds and offer support and mentoring to those transitioning from another area of law. We are looking for a lawyer to grow and develop our busy litigation team, who shares our values of client-centered service, investment in the Kamloops community, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The city is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, with an extensive trail network for year-round adventure. Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing complex files without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
  • Extensive experience in BC Supreme Court and Family Law Rules, as well as court proceedings and processes
  • Experience in negotiating and mediating with a winning track record
  • Proven experience to contribute to the success of a team

Qualifications:

  • Must be in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
  • Professional with excellent judgment and the ability to exercise discretion regarding confidential information
  • Strong work ethic
  • Client-centered approach
  • Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the firm
  • Strong interest in growing the scope of our firm
  • Ability to handle high volume and the fast pace of our busy practice

Salary: $70,000-$110,000
