About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Engineer to join our team at Saint-Gobain. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in developing and coordinating energy-saving and environmental projects across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement energy-saving and environmental projects to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our sustainability performance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, and maintain accurate records of project progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of project progress and outcomes, including reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a project management or engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software, including Asana, Trello, or similar tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
