Environmental Emergency Response and Project Manager

Job Summary:
Xpera is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager and Emergency Response Specialist to join our team in the Québec region. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for managing environmental projects and responding to emergency spill situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Respond to emergency spill situations, coordinating with stakeholders and implementing remediation plans
- Conduct site assessments and develop remediation strategies to mitigate environmental impacts
- Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities and clients, highlighting project progress and environmental outcomes
Requirements:
- University degree in Environmental Engineering, Geosciences, or a related field
- At least one year's experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
