FNX-INNOV is seeking a dedicated Environmental Project Engineer to contribute to our growing team.
In this role, you will play a key part in managing and executing environmental projects for a diverse clientele, including industrial, governmental, and private sector organizations.
- Project Management: You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating environmental assessment, characterization, and site rehabilitation projects. This includes conducting feasibility studies, developing detailed project plans, and managing budgets and timelines.
- Technical Expertise: Your expertise in environmental engineering principles will be crucial for conducting field investigations, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports. You will be involved in all phases of environmental projects, from initial site assessments to final remediation strategies.
- Client Relations: As the primary point of contact for clients, you will build strong relationships, understand their needs, and provide clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Teamwork: You will collaborate effectively with technical personnel, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project execution.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geological/Mining/Water Engineering or Geology, with an environmental focus, or equivalent.
- Master's degree or graduate certificate in Environmental Assessment is an asset.
- Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers or the Quebec Order of Geologists.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and execute tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and spoken French (bilingual French/English is an asset).
- ASP safety card for construction sites.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
