Pharmacy Manager Position

About the Role:
Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our Kamsack location. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy, and actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient progress.
- Administer vaccines and determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.
- Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
- Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
- Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.
Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan.
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred).
- Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business.
- Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff.
- Capability to collaborate with front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-directed and able to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
