About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our Kamsack team at Neighbourly Pharmacy. As a part-time Community Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide safe and effective drug therapy, actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement
  2. Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education
  3. Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient interactions
  4. Administer vaccines and determine appropriateness of drug therapy
  5. Monitor medication adherence, collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information, and recommend OTC products and vitamins
  6. Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in the performance of restricted activities

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a community pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as within a team
