We are seeking a talented RF Engineer Co-Op to join our Test & Validation engineering team at our Ottawa site. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing device characteristics, evaluating RF performance, and ensuring that our products meet the necessary specifications and performance criteria.

Your responsibilities will include supporting engineering activities such as test, check-out, and modification, working from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions. You will also assist in determining methods for time reduction, building RF test setups, and performing RF tests.

The typical pay range for an intern is CAD $25.00 - $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in electrical engineering pursuing BS or MS degree
  • Must have the ability to complete a 12-month Co-op term prior to graduation
  • Familiarity with RF bench testing
  • Must be proactive and improve and troubleshoot test benches
  • Knowledge of RF test equipment: Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, etc..
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to understand schematics and diagrams
  • Must have team-oriented attitude, accountability, and ownership
  • Understanding of RF Technology
