Job Summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented University Student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa, Canada. As an RF Engineering Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to apply your sound engineering skills to a variety of assignments in electronic design engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide RF design support for RFICs and multi-chip modules.
  • Perform schematic capture, simulation, layout, verification, and EM analysis.
  • Evaluate and summarize test data, and present findings to the design team.
  • Set up and perform RF tests, and debug, tune, and measure lab prototypes.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a BSEE, MSEE, or PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering.
  • Available to work on-site from January 2025 to December 2025.
  • Basic knowledge of analog and RF electronic circuits and principles.
  • Experience with test equipment and tools such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS.
  • Basic understanding of high-frequency circuit design.
  • Basic familiarity with RF circuit blocks such as LNAs and PAs.
