Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to join our team. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the testing effort for our Microsoft 365 project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project requirements to understand the testing effort and estimate the time, resources, and budget required.
  • Define the testing strategy and build a testing team with the necessary skills, attitudes, and motivation.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality testing.
  • Coordinate with the business SMEs and vendors to create and modify test cases and test scripts.
  • Review and document test cases and test scripts to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Track and report on testing activities, including test results, test case coverage, and defect status.
  • Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones and prepare metrics dashboards to track progress.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and support the development of test scripts and testing activities.
  • Support the maintenance and development of test tools and ensure they are properly utilized.
  • Provide thought leadership and support communication and artifacts for readiness activities and transition to sustainment.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Experience with software quality control concepts and practices.
  • Knowledge of defect resolution processes and practices.
  • Experience with test case management, requirements, and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology requirements and apply them to a clinical context.
Desirable Skills
  • 2+ years of experience with BC Health Authorities.
  • Testing of Microsoft products (TEAMS, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, policies, and standards.
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics to manage variety of different stakeholders.
