Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team at Fortinet, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer in Test.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software code to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain software using C/C++ programming languages.
  • Provide design and development feedback to improve software quality.
  • Work closely with other developers to triage and eliminate bugs.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, new feature design, and product certifications.
  • Research new technologies and trends to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in C language, development tools, and environments under LINUX.
  • Deep knowledge of protocols and network firewalls.
  • Familiarity with common Web Authentication protocols and web servers.
  • Understanding of Web application vulnerabilities and OWASP top 10.
  • Extensive experience in pre- and post-systems engineering.
  • Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
  • High self-learning abilities.
