About the Role

The Leadership Giving Officer is responsible for building and growing a leadership giving and annual giving pipeline, including the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual giving donors. This role will work closely with the Manager, Annual Giving and Gift Compliance to achieve fundraising goals.

This is a full-time replacement term position, working 35 hours per week with potential for additional hours for events.

Responsibilities

Responsibility 1 (50%): Leadership Giving

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leadership giving donors
  • Collaborate with Student Awards and Annual Giving teams to achieve fundraising goals
  • Develop engagement strategies for leadership giving
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fundraising initiatives and best practices

Responsibility 2 (25%): Annual Giving

  • Assist in planning and executing giving campaigns
  • Respond to Annual Giving inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with strategic planning for the Leadership and Annual Giving Team

Responsibility 3 (25%): Administrative Tasks

  • Manage prospect/donor relationships using RENXT CRM
  • Develop and distribute stewardship reports to donors
  • Complete gift processing paperwork and ensure accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
  • Three or Four Year Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience
  • Background in nonprofit management or CFRE designation an asset
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience working with clients, donors, and volunteers
  • Research skills using RENXT and experience with databases, preferably RENXT

Additional Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong time management skills and willingness to engage new donors or alumni

Salary: $60,571 - $76,640 per annum
