About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Alumni Donor Liaison Specialist to join our team at SAIT. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with alumni, donors, and friends of SAIT through personal solicitation and stewardship outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized solicitation strategies to engage donors and increase giving to SAIT.
  • BUILD strong relationships with alumni, donors, and friends to foster a sense of community and encourage support for SAIT.
  • Communicate effectively via phone, text, and email to share SAIT's story and inspire donations.
  • Collaborate with the Annual Giving Team to support fundraising initiatives, including Giving Day and Family Campaign.
  • Utilize digital solicitation tools, such as ThankView, to secure, renew, and steward annual giving donors.
  • Record data and track progress on donor interactions.
  • Respond to donor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current SAIT student or recent graduate with a minimum of one year of experience in fundraising, direct response, or customer service.
  • Experience in soliciting philanthropic gifts and working with fundraising database systems is an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience). SAIT offers a competitive compensation package that includes health benefits, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
