Clinical Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Transfer Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transfer of patients across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical practices, processes, and documentation to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical leaders, IT staff, and other stakeholders to design and implement new systems and processes
- Provide oversight and facilitation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Lead the coordination and implementation of transfer projects and initiatives to improve patient flow and reduce wait times
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clinical leaders, IT staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in front-line clinical care and related experience in bed management, patient transportation, and clinical operations
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Valid BC driver's license
