We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Transfer Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transfer of patients across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical practices and processes to improve patient transfer outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical leaders, IT staff, and other stakeholders to design and implement new technologies and systems
- Provide oversight and guidance to clinical staff on best practices for patient transfer
- Conduct quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in front-line clinical care and related experience in bed management, patient transportation, and clinical operations
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Valid BC driver's license
