About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is part of our Emergency, Trauma, and Transfer Services Program, where you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate and implement transfer projects and initiatives. Your expertise in clinical operations, patient transportation, and EMR use will be invaluable in driving process improvements and enhancing patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement transfer projects and initiatives, working closely with clinical leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Northern Health's strategic objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on clinical operations, patient flow, and transfer services, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in front-line clinical care and related experience in bed management, patient transportation, and EMR use.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid BC driver's license.
