About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Salus Fresh Foods (King St). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
    • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
    • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the management of restaurant inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in the restaurant.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the restaurant's financial performance meets company expectations.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, including scheduling, staffing, and employee productivity.
    • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce expenses, and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Customer Service and Experience
    • Ensure exceptional customer service, including prompt and friendly service, accurate orders, and timely resolution of customer complaints.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including loyalty programs, promotions, and events.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar role.
    • Proven track record of success in restaurant management, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong business acumen, including financial management, marketing, and operations.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Fluency in English language.
