The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and executing strategic priorities for DSV, a leading global supply chain solutions provider. This position is responsible for achieving sales targets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering end-to-end solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of target customers, including their needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to create value-added solutions for clients.
- Manage and maintain existing accounts, ensuring alignment with DSV's sales process and objectives.
- Provide regular performance metrics and insights to the sales administrator.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including sales presentations, deliverable development, and implementation coordination.
- Education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 2 years in account management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and resolve customer grievances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM).
This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing at a desk, with occasional travel required. Regular working hours apply, with occasional flexibility to meet business needs.
