Job Description

This role involves providing exceptional customer service by supporting clients in the development of strategies during purchase transactions, mortgage pre-authorizations, and external refinancings. You will establish and maintain lasting relationships with real estate brokers and/or builders by informing them of the products and services offered.

The ideal candidate will organize and participate in business development activities and events while communicating closely with internal partners to increase customer retention, support for branch customers, or referral customers to the most appropriate partner to drive cross-selling.

You will also be responsible for updating your knowledge of all National Bank products and market developments to act as an expert.

Your Team

By joining National Bank as a Mortgage Development Manager, you will work with three different groups of people in your territory: clients, real estate agents, and internal partners. Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience or a college diploma and three years' relevant experience
  • Business development experience
  • Ability to meet business development targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage various internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of financial products - an asset
