About the Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our team as Associate Dean, School of Nursing at Assiniboine Community College.
This dynamic position plays a pivotal role in aligning the School's academic initiatives with college priorities and engaging with external partners, including professional associations, government entities, employers, and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and operational leadership, fostering collaborative decision-making, overseeing high-quality programs, and exceptional teaching.
- Deepen community partnerships and contribute to the growth and development of the School of Nursing.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to shape programs and partnerships aligned with School and College priorities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Nursing or a related field, be a Manitoba licensed LPN or RN in good standing (or eligible to be licensed), and have leadership experience in a post-secondary setting.
The candidate should demonstrate an unwavering commitment to reconciliation, quality, and student success, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for academic quality and relationship-building.
