Sales and Events Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at the Silver Hotel Group. As a Sales and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating sales-related activities, managing event logistics, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate sales-related activities, including preparing sales documents, managing event logistics, and communicating with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage event details, including room assignments, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales reports, including analyzing sales data and identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales and events coordination, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
