We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Records Clerk to join our team at CHAWLAS INDIAN BISTRO AND PARTY HALL.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. They will also assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Basic security clearance
Working Conditions:

The Financial Records Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
