Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Executive Lead to join our team. This role will lead all finance functions, including operational accounting and budgeting, financial reporting, controlling, tax planning, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures for financial controls and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the division's financial and accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.\
  • Develop and implement financial models, forecasts, and analytical tools to inform business decisions.\
  • Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.\
  • Maintain rigorous financial and operational controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.\
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making.\
  • Foster strong relationships with regulators, consultants, external auditors, and the financial community.\
  • Negotiate and sign multi-year contracts and commitments, such as leases, insurance, and supplier agreements.\
  • Ensure compliance with ATS Code of Business Conduct and regulatory requirements.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.\
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business performance evaluation.\
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement, implementing effective solutions.\
  • Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits and resolution of any issues.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to enhance business performance.\
  • Oversee the effective management of financial resources, maximizing value creation.\
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members, promoting their growth and succession planning.\
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.\
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.\
  • Expert-level knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.\
  • Proven track record of success in senior financial roles, demonstrating strategic thinking and leadership abilities.\
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.\
  • Apost-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.\
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in senior financial positions, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.\
  • Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CA would be an asset.\
