Job Title: Director of Environmental Sustainability

McCain Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Environmental Sustainability to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive environmental strategies and programs across all aspects of our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental management, sustainability, and project management, with a proven track record of driving change and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental strategies and programs to minimize the organization's environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards sustainability goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in environmental sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental management, sustainability, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
