Job SummaryWe are seeking a Director, Sustainability to develop and implement our sustainability strategy, ensuring compliance with ESG reporting frameworks and regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will effectively communicate our ESG initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Apotex's sustainability/ESG strategy aligned to our business objectives and 5-year strategy.
- Communicate our sustainability story, including our ESG strategy, progress, and achievements to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with global ESG reporting frameworks and regulatory obligations by monitoring and analyzing ESG trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead the development of environmental sustainability programs and initiatives in collaboration with leaders in our Global Operations team.
- Work with subject matter experts in the social and governance pillars to ensure objectives and programs are aligned to our ESG strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in ESG strategy, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, writing, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation related to ESG metrics.
- Solid organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
