Dialysis Unit Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dialysis Unit Assistant to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our hemodialysis unit, you will be responsible for assisting nursing staff with setting up and dismantling dialysis machines and equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a clinical environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist nursing staff with setup and operation of dialysis machines and equipment
- Order stock and special supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Support patient care activities such as transfers, lifts, and weighing patients
- Grade XII or Equivalent
- Previous experience in dialysis and clinical/acute care settings an asset
- Technical aptitude and mechanical inclination
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- WHMIS practices for acute care settings
- Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- $21.43-$23.37 Hourly
- Permanent, part-time 90% FTE position (67.5 hours bi-weekly)
