About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at KeAnu Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Maintain Computer Systems and Networks
    • Regularly check the performance of computer systems and networks to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Provide Technical Support to Users
    • Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance with technical issues related to computer systems and networks.
    • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Collect and Maintain a Problems and Solutions Log
    • Collect and organize information about problems and solutions to help other technical support analysts.
  • Supervise Other Technical Support Workers
    • Oversee the work of other technical support analysts to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide Business Systems, Network, and Internet Support
    • Provide technical support to users in response to identified difficulties with business systems, networks, and the internet.
  • Provide Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage Incidents
    • Manage incidents related to computer systems and networks, ensuring that they are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and other technical support analysts.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
    • CompTIA Security+ certification is an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications, including Jira, iOS, Linux, Extranet, Intranet, Internet, Desktop applications, Word processing software, Programming software, MS Office, MS Windows, Oracle, SQL, SharePoint, Spreadsheet, Visual Basic, and WordPress.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, ability to multitask, time management, and honesty.
