About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at KeAnu Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to technical issues, utilizing user guides, technical manuals, and other documents.
  • Training and Advice: Offer guidance and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Incident Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, ensuring seamless incident management.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Business Systems Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to user inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification: Possession of this certification is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira, iOS, Linux, Extranet, Intranet, Internet, Desktop applications, Word processing software, Programming software, MS Office, MS Windows, Oracle, SQL, SharePoint, Spreadsheet, Visual Basic, and WordPress.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, time management, honesty, and a strong client focus.
