Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and prioritizing plans to address issues within your assigned business unit and drive growth opportunities.

  • Growing the business unit to achieve a competitive advantage in market share and exceeding annual growth targets.

  • Building strong relationships with key suppliers and creating annual business plans with them.

  • Developing strong customer relationships and growing sales territory gross margin annually.

  • Attracting, hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining outstanding employees, creating a culture of high performance.

  • Staying up-to-date with all system functionalities.

  • Reflecting the core values of the business unit and the company by acting and managing in a professional and ethical manner, in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.

  • Engaging in continued personal and professional development and inspiring employees to do the same.

  • Becoming familiar with specific industry codes and requirements relating to all aspects of the servicing of safety equipment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or equivalent, with relevant years of related experience may be applicable.

  • Over five years' experience in sales and management, and/or experience in the serving or directly working with related safety equipment.

  • Strong abilities in leadership, negotiation, management, and decision-making.

  • Strong customer service orientation, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong willingness to learn and develop skills.

  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, and sound judgment.
