BDC is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for leveraging your interpersonal strengths and network to generate new business opportunities while managing an existing client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and prospects to discuss their business needs and provide tailored advisory services;
- Execute a business plan that aligns with the Business Center's objectives, ensuring the growth and retention of the current clientele in your portfolio while acquiring new clients and creating a pool of business opportunities;
- Analyze, negotiate, and present financing proposals while exercising credit judgment;
- Network within various associations and chambers of commerce to establish business relationships and obtain referrals that will facilitate acquiring new clients.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in finance, business, or business administration;
- Have 1 to 3 years of experience in business development and have developed a network in the business community;
- Have a sixth sense that allows you to identify entrepreneurs' business problems and needs;
- Be able to establish effective and lasting relationships with your peers as well as with business contacts and external partners;
- Have excellent negotiation skills, be results-oriented, and have concrete goals to your credit;
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
