Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced Agriculture Business Leader to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Commercial Banking group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the agriculture sector.



About the Role



In this critical role, you will oversee a team of specialists who contribute to the growth of agricultural producers by offering advice, support, and financial services tailored to clients. You will be responsible for effectively managing your team, developing a skilled and proactive sales force, and supporting organizational changes. Additionally, you will identify and develop business opportunities, increase your commercial client base, and establish business development strategies based on the Bank's orientations.



You will also be responsible for overseeing a sustainable and profitable growth plan, meeting financial performance targets, identifying and managing risks inherent to the sector, and expanding your knowledge and that of your team in integrated consulting services. Furthermore, you will propose ways to change and rethink work practices to boost process and system efficiency and keep abreast of economic trends affecting the Commercial Banking sector.



Your Team



As Agriculture Business Leader, you will act as a leader for the team in Eastern Ontario, Outaouais, Lanaudière, Laval, Laurentides, Abittibi-Témiscamingue. This team is composed of 16 employees, including Account Managers and Account representatives.



Requirements



To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience. You will also require significant experience dealing with Commercial Banking clients (mid-market and/or agriculture), knowledge of the agricultural sector, solid background in personnel management, experience in complex financing structures and risk analysis, experience in sales coaching, negotiation experience, and ability to maximize the use of sales management tools.

Estimated Salary Range



The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
